Who we are

By locals. For locals.

We're the crew behind Hong Kong's Ice Hockey Fun League — 18 seasons and counting. We're based in Sham Shui Po, West Kowloon, a neighbourhood we picked because it's easy to get to and doesn't feel exclusive. That's the whole idea: you don't need to have grown up overseas or own a full kit bag to give this sport a try. No gear? We'll lend you some so you can find out if you like it first. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced — there's a level for you, and a down-to-earth group to play with.

Part ice or full ice?

Every program above runs on either a fenced-off section of the rink or the whole sheet. Start small, grow into the big ice.

Start here

Part-ice lessons

A mesh-fenced area covering about a third of the rink, so the group stays tight and the coach is always within earshot. Best for learning to skate and getting started in ice hockey.

  • Complete beginners & first-timers
  • Skating, edges, puck basics
  • More reps, less standing around
  • Less intimidating for kids
Next step

Full-ice practice

The whole rink — real game distances, real speed. Where drills turn into hockey. Step up once your skating holds together.

  • Improvers & experienced players
  • Systems, positioning, breakouts
  • Scrimmages & game situations
  • League-ready conditioning

Pricing differs between part ice and full ice. Talk to us — we'll point you to the right level and share the current rates and schedule.

Don't have gear yet? We can lend you a full set to try before you buy.

For the kids

Loud cheers only.

Kids who train here come back the next week. We've found that doesn't happen when you yell at them. Our coaches teach hockey the way kids should learn it — patient, playful, and with plenty of high-fives.

The Fun League

Our beating heart: a friendly, fast, 4-on-4 league with games every week that's been running 18 seasons and counting. Two skill lines — Line 1 plays Line 1, Line 2 plays Line 2 — so everyone gets fair matches and an equal shot at improving.

New

We've just launched a kids league with 3 lines — three skill levels, so every child plays in a safe, fun game at their own pace.
